A few years back I remember an episode of Numb3rs that discussed a murder involving some online gamers. Well sadly it looks like that very thing has come true. A gamer was recently arrested in Germany in connection to a murder in Nottingham, England. I have ready some pretty weird things in my life time but this message that this guy calling himself David Heiss wrote on the victims Facebook page is pretty ominous:

“I will pray for you. You must be suffering unbelievable pain,” he wrote. “I’m sorry for having caused so much trouble lately. I hope you won’t lose all your hope. We will be there for you.”

Unreal how people can take things too far in this world because of things that happen in virtual reality.
