Sorry Everyone…
Looks like my site has been taked as a Reported Attack site. I am going to have Ben take a look at this when he gets back from Texas. It doesn’t flag it in IE just Mozilla. Have not tried in Safari…but since Seth told me about it, I am sure its getting flagged in Safari too. Stay tuned for more…I do have some stories to share. Talk to you all soon.
Good news everybody…
A new blog is going up today…and here it is.
Well, I have been getting pretty comfy in my little B-hut, which I think I am going to turn in to a Tiki Hut with the inspiration coming from my friend Lynette. So here is what I am going to do, I am going to go to HomeDepot.com or Lowes.com…see who can send to an APO address and see if I can have then send me rolls of bamboo blinds. lol. I am going to pin them to the wall and make it a real nice little tropical dream.
That is either of sign of real boredom or I have gone off the deep end and need something to bring my mind back to reality. lol. If any of you have any ideas throw them my way…of if you have anything you want to donate to the cause…hook a ninja up.
Later everyone.
Once again…
Yeah so my buddy Ben is the man. As a few of you know…the site was hacked then reported as a spam…I unfortunatley am not the best at this recovery crap. Luckily he is one of the brightest people I know and he was able to get everything fixed. I honestly appreciate his friendship and thank him for all the help he has been in maintaining the site. Thank you Ben aka Opterongeek!
Just for fun…
Well I have been getting a lot of questions as of late as to how the area is. And I tell everyone…its a lot like home which is weird for me to say. Let me put a disclaimer on here…its a lot like home terrain wise. The living conditions as you can tell from previous posts suck! lol. Well I did go ahead and take some pics of the surrounding area to give you an idea of what it looks like here and what my B huts look like. Here you go…also, anyone that wants to help a ninja decorate his B hut I would love things I can hang on the wall since its impossible to find anything like curtains or calenders and what not.

Sobering is an understatement…
Once again, some of you know that I am in Afghanistan for the year. Its tough being away from home, it really is. I miss friends and I miss family. I miss the little things like being able to just text someone on a whim and hang out. With all that being said, I am adjusting really well to being out here. For some reason it seems better than Kuwait…minus the living conditions of course. lol I notice that I live on a large installation and things are very quiet in comparison to most other places where the war is going on. In fact, its hard to tell we are really in one at times. Then you get the not so subtle reminders in the news. Things like CNN reporting that there have been more casualties this month in Afghanistan than any other month we have been here. Or Yahoo news reporting that 9 US soldiers were killed, and this is the largest count in almost 3 years. You hear about it in the news and think that its just hard to believe. Well this morning marked my 3rd Fallen Soldier Ceremony, keep in mine I have only been here a week. I watched 9 bodies escorted out of here covered by the American flag. It puts you in to a state of shock. Well at least for me it did. I pray that God keeps those families in his heart and gets them through these hard times. I pray everyday that we can continue the fight with out losing anyone else.
Sevendust…
All I can really say is Thank You to these guys. Its the first time I have seen them in concert and it will not be the last. They did a great acoustic set last night here in Bagram and man was I blown away. I was able to meet up with the band afterwards and get a few pictures and autographs. Funny how I had to come clear out here to see a concert for such a big name…Thank you USO and Thank You Sevendust. My camera is on the fritz but here are some really blurry shots from the concert last night from my camera phone.

The goods…
Well it looks like my site is repaired… I thought I would give you all an idea of how I am living…well its a little turd bucket…a far cry from what I had in Kuwait for those that remember those pics. Here are just a few shots of my living arrangements.

I made it and I am safe…
Ok, so after being stuck in Kuwait for a whopping 10 days, I finally reached my end destination. That destination would be Bagram, Afghanistan. From what I have seen of the local terrain, I can tell you that I am very impressed. Mountains seem to surround almost every side of us and to be honest it reminds me of home. Well…at least terrain wise.
I started work tonight and I am very pleased. Looks like I work with some really cool people. On top of it all, you heard me correctly when I said tonight. lol. I am on nights again like I was in Kuwait, so I am able to email to my gmail account through out the night. Feel free to contact me at anytime that way. I also signed up for local internet. So Ido have internet in my room. I thought Kuwait was bad for what you get…I am paying $100/month for 128Kbps. Hey its enough to chat with the people I love and update the site. lol. Anyway…its almost bed time. I have to go and buy a rug for my room tomorrow. I will have some pics of my living arrangements soon. And finally to answer the big question…Yes I am doing good. Time is flying and I will see everyone very soon.
